The PIE Chairman

We are the PIE Angels.

PIE

Time flies and finally, a new batch of Primary One pupils will be joining our school. Some would be lost and not know how to buy their food without the help of their parents.

Since 1999, the parent helpers have volunteered their valuable time to help the school. They form a group and called themselves PIE.

They help the pupils who have problems in buying their food, even bringing the food to their respective seats. In addition, some parents have helped out at the zebra crossing to ensure the safety of the pupils.

During Children's Day and Teacher's Day, they also perform on stage. They are very helpful and the school appreciates their help. We are happy that more parents are joining the PIE group next year.

The pupils are so fortunate to have the PIE.

Reading Mums

Some of the Primary One pupils do not know how to read. It is a serious problem. If they could not read properly, they would fail their English. It would affect their future.

Some parents have volunteered to help these pupils. They gathered together and form the PIE. Soon they started the Reading Mum Programme. The parent helpers used the Prefab Room 1, 2 and 3, which are air-conditioned, to teach the pupils.

The programme is a success as most of the pupils are able to achieve better results in their oral examination. We must thank the parent helpers for their precious time.

Please read again. You can do it.
